On-Campus Assessment
Accommodations

Accommodated Testing Services coordinates on-campus assessment accommodations for students with disabilities who are enrolled in in-class courses offered on the St. George Campus.

To be eligible for services, you must first be authorized for academic accommodations by Accessibility Services. Then, you opt-in to your accommodations on a per-assessment basis by registering with Accommodated Testing Services for each on-campus assessment for which you would like your accommodations coordinated.

On-campus assessment accommodations may include:

  • accessible space
  • specialized invigilation staff
  • additional writing time
  • monitored break time
  • adaptive technology
  • ergonomic furniture
  • alternate print formats (e.g. Braille, enlarged print)
  • disability-necessitated rescheduling

Accommodated Testing Services' primary on-campus assessment location is at the St. George Campus' Exam Centre in Exam Room 340. Accommodated assessments may also be scheduled at alternate on-campus locations during busier periods of the academic year, such as in December and April.

Online Assessment
Accommodations

Accommodated Testing Services coordinates online assessment accommodations for students with disabilities who are enrolled in online and hybrid courses offered by the St. George Campus.

To be eligible for services, you must first be authorized for academic accommodations by Accessibility Services. Then, you opt-in to your accommodations on a per-assessment basis by registering with Accommodated Testing Services for each online assessment to which you would like your accommodations applied.

Online assessment accommodations may include:

  • additional writing time
  • incorporated break time
  • disability-necessitated rescheduling

Accommodated Testing Services also manages accommodation data configuration and offers accommodation-related technical support for instructors and administrators of online and hybrid courses using:

  • Crowdmark
  • Quercus Assignments
  • Quercus Quizzes
  • ProctorU
